WHO: Landowners, practitioners, and others interested in WLA’s work.
WHAT: A tour and discussion rooted in the three foundations of stewardship: knowledge, economics, and policy. Within these foundations, the tour will focus on innovations, challenges, and what works. Topics and associated tour stops will focus on high-altitude forest management that take ecosystem health, economic and recreational uses into account, including thinning, fire use, public/private boundary management, and more. Read more about the CO State Forest below.
WHEN: Thursday, June 22 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Field lunch is included.
WHERE: CO State Forest, near Walden, Colorado.
