(Materials Available) WESTERN PLACES/WESTERN SPACES: CREATING INCLUSIVE COMMUNITIES (3/15-3/17)

Training Type(s): Education
Date / Time: March 15, 2017 6:00 am

MARCH 15, 16 & 17

Denver, CO

As one of the premier land use events in the country, the Western Places/Western Spaces event attracts over 450 planners, lawyers, developers, and land use professionals to discuss the issues facing the Rocky Mountain West—the same issues that you care about.

How do Western communities balance growth with water availability?

What tools do communities have available to them when working with oil and gas development?

How can communities help to combat rising costs and still ensure that there is housing for their growing populations?

What are the latest legal updates and planning tools that are available for communities that are dealing with these issues?
In addition, the Elements of Development Finance workshop on Wednesday, March 15 will walk you through the process of how real estate developments—simple and complex—are financed, using both private and public sources of funding. You can opt to attend the workshop on its own, or add it to a Western Places/Western Spaces registration for a discounted fee.

Whether you’re from a big city or a small rural town, the Western Places/Western Spaces event has something for everyone. Download a program to see a full listing of the sessions that are available.

CLE and AICP credits (including ethics) are available.
