Noting the recent news of more than a billion dollars of funding available through the U.S. EPA’s Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) credit program, the new U.S. administration’s plans to invest over a trillion dollars in infrastructure (via P3s), and continued focus on green infrastructure, this webinar will answer much needed questions about P3s, large-scale delivery/financing, and their potential roles in your community. The webinar is an outcome of a Great Lakes Protection Fund funded initiative to enable private financing and/or private delivery in the Great Lakes Basin. Key areas of focus will be:
What are P3s, their benefits and examples
What is the potential market size for private investment in green infrastructure
The status of stormwater utilities and their associated fees
Market drivers for private delivery and investment in large-scale infrastructure
What to do in the absence of a stormwater P3 legislation
Presenters are Sanjiv Sinha, Ph.D., a vice president for Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc. (ECT), and Greg Cannito, a managing director for Corvias Solutions.
