Low-Tech Process Based Restoration of Riverscapes WorkshopDate / Time: October 9, 2019 1:00 am
Location: Logan, Utah, USA
Low-Tech Process Based Restoration (LTPBR) is rapidly becoming a popular, promising and pragmatic way to tackle the massive scope of riverscape degradation. Numerous State and Federal Agencies have been working with the Utah State University Restoration Consortium to provide training for their staff (4 private workshops this year, 6 last year). For the first time since the publication of the LTPBR Design Manual, we are publicly offering that same great training that has been entirely revamped this year!
Come to Logan this Fall, and learn the principles underlying LTPBR, get an introduction to planning and design, and get your hands dirty building low-tech structures on a local ranch. With the backdrop of fall color and the handy work of beaver right on our doorstep, Logan is a great classroom to learn some of the basics first hand.
Dates: October 9-11, 2018 (we will start at 1 PM on October 9th to allow travel to Logan on first day and/or for participants to attend both Restoring the West Conference and LTPBR workshop.
Location: Utah State University, Logan
Cost: $1100 (note those that attend the Restoring the West ConferenceOctober 8-9 can get a $150 discount for registering for both)
