Integrating Produce and Livestock Workshop

Join agricultural experts from the National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) and Montana State University (MSU) for a discussion of integrating livestock with produce production. Food safety considerations will be outlined and demonstrated.

The workshop will be held on July 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon) at BART Research Farm – Towne’s Harvest Garden, 2730 West Garfield, Bozeman, Montana.

You’ll learn how integrated crop-livestock production systems may provide sustainable alternatives to conventional methods of termination and tillage practices to improve soil health and produce quality, and take a tour of the MSU BART Research Farm.

This event is free to attend. Light refreshments will be provided.
