What an inspiring session with Bob Tiede yesterday. So much great information and so much amazing engagement from the hundreds of people who joined us.
I loved Bob’s “8 Seconds of Silence.” It reminded me of the advice I learned ages ago to take a sip of water after asking for a gift. He said research shows most of us won’t wait more than 2 or 3 seconds after asking a question to hear the response. If there’s silence we jump in…when in fact we should remain silent.
Bob also talked about the power a question has to bring someone back from whatever else they were thinking. So the more often we ask questions the more engaged our donors will be.
Tons of great ideas here so be sure to take in the whole webinar:
Also, I’m attaching all the amazing donor questions attendees typed in. There’s a wealth of material here.
And don’t forget to head to leadingwithquestions.com for tons of free stuff from Bob and to get on his mailing list!
