A performance traveling through southwest Montana hopes to open the floodgates of conversation about water and its impact on us… through the use of movement.

“Years ago, we started researching what the community, as it grows, could use more awareness about, as we grow explosively,” said Dede Taylor, co-founder and producer for Mountain Time Arts. “And the one element that was just so beautiful and lends itself so well to art is water.”

That research led Dede Taylor, along with co-founders Jim Madden and Mary Ellen Strom, to where they were on Wednesday night, three years later, in a lawn trimmed by the East Gallatin River.

It led them to “The Symphonic Body/Water.”
