The mission of the Clearwater Resource Council is to engage the community and facilitate efforts that
will enhance, conserve, sustain, and protect the natural resources and rural lifestyle of the Clearwater
watershed for present and future generations.

CRC seeks to fill its Community Forester position, a full time, exempt position that performs professional
forest management/restoration activities and reports to the CRC Executive Director. The primary
purpose and responsibility of this position is the planning and implementation of fuel
mitigation/landscape restoration projects, home assessments and public education. Secondary
responsibilities are participation in the local fuels task force, forest assessments, assistance in setting up
and managing community fire protection grants and associated contracts, data management and serving
as a liaison with key agencies and organizations in the Clearwater Valley and surrounding area.
