The MWCC Watershed Fund has funding to assist Big Sky Watershed Corps members and host sites with implementing nonpoint source pollution-reduction projects impacting water bodies listed as impaired on Montana’s 2018 List of Impaired Waters and outlined in a DEQ-accepted Watershed Restoration Plan (WRP). The organization’s current BSWC member must submit the proposal for funding, play a lead role in implementing the project, and complete interim and final project reports. The maximum award amount is $15,000, but MWCC recommends limiting requests to $10,000. Proposals are due by 5 pm on Monday, March 15. More details are available in the Request for Proposals (RFP).
