Big Sky Watershed Corps Blogs
The leaves are falling, and our Big Sky Watershed Corps (BSWC) members’ terms are coming to an end. To help us celebrate their successes during a particularly challenging year, we’ve got three entertaining and engaging blog posts for you. Abigail Toretsky plants the seed(ling)s for conservation success with the Lolo Watershed Group and Lolo National Forest, Brooke Helstrom of the Gallatin Watershed Council finds and builds community with Gallatin Watershed Stewards, and Liz Shull shares her two-year BSWC journey, including her time as the member Team Leader for Montana Conservation Corps.
BSWC is an AmeriCorps program that places young professionals in Montana’s watershed communities to make a measurable difference in local conservation initiatives. Here’s wishing all 34 of our 2020 BSWC members well in the next steps of their journeys, and congratulations for a job well done!
