Affected Watershed: Big Hole

Watershed Description: The Big Hole River flows undammed for 150 miles, is a blue ribbion fishery and home to the last native, self-sustaining population of fluvial Arctic grayling in the Lower 48 states.

Why was a watershed effort begun? To understand, preserve and enhance the free flowing character of the Big Hole River and to protect its watershed, culture, community and excellent wild trout fishery.

Group Plans: Contiune on-going efforts Working on CCAA agreement for Arctic Grayling Recovery Seeking funding for 3-year project to improve irrigation efficiency, grazing practices and expand riparian habitat efforts
