Attached is a flier for our general Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) signup for Fiscal Year 2018 funding. As the filer states we can work in Rangeland, Cropland, and Forestland, with this program, it’s pretty much our flagship program to assist landowners thru Technical and Financial assistance.
As always, the funding of projects is very competitive, but the only way for anyone to have a shot is to come talk to our office in Helena and see how things could flesh out.
Over the years we have successfully used EQIP to assist landowners improve their grazing systems, treat noxious weeds, make their irrigation systems more efficient, improve the overall health of their forest stands, along with a whole host of other issues, on small and large acreages across Lewis & Clark and Meagher Counties. If you have a website you would like to put this up on, know of a gathering spot that it would garner some attention, or would simply like to forward it on to folks you think would be interested please feel more than welcome to do so.
Our offices are always interested in working with landowners in both counties, and it’s working with partners like you that allows us those possibilities to reach out to others throughout Lewis & Clark and Meagher Counties.
If you or someone you know have questions on the opportunities this program has to offer, I would be more than happy to visit with anyone at any time, just give me a holler.
